Acknowledging Script Integrity Changes [USER GUIDE]

Overview

PCI DSS v4.0 § 6.4.3 emphasises detecting unauthorized script modifications. Source Defense hashes each script on the payment page and alerts you when the code changes.

Step‑by‑Step

  1. In the PCI Dashboard, click Manage 1st Party or Manage 3rd+ Party under Script Integrity.

  2. The list is pre‑filtered to New behaviors only.

  3. Select a script and review the diff viewer:

    • Added/removed functions

    • New external requests

  4. If the change is legitimate, click Acknowledge. Otherwise, escalate internally or block the script.

  5. Continue until Requires Action hits 0.
