Background: PCI DSS 4.0 requires written justification for scripts present on payment pages. Written justifications for scripts can be stored in the script detail page for each script within the Source Defense dashboard for retrieval, auditing, or modification at a later. Follow the steps below to learn how to add a justification to one of your scripts.
1 Log into your PCI Dashboard
2 Go to "Authorization & Justification" widget click on "Manage 1st" or "Manage 3rd+"
3 Click on one of the scripts currently missing justification
4 Enter your justification
5 Click "Authorize & Justify"
